iTuners beware-PandaLabs antimalware laboratory found Apple’s iTunes platform has become a major target for hackers looking to steal credit card data from the service’s millions of users. Victims receive a cleverly-crafted email informing them that they have made an expensive purchase on iTunes. The user, having never made the purchase to begin with, is concerned by the email and naturally tries to resolve the problem – in this case by clicking on the proffered (fake) link. Upon installation, the user is redirected to an infected Web page containing the Zeus Trojan, which is specifically designed to steal personal data. Multiple Credit Cards are Good too

Having one credit card is okay. People are afraid to have multiple credit cards because they might get confused and might end up with a stack of unpaid bills. Other say that having a lot of credit cards is tantamount to telling oneself to buy a lot of things due to the wide credit limit. Some others are concerned about their credit scores and that having too much credit cards could hurt their scores.

Unless you are one of those people who keep a single credit card for identification purposes only, you shouldn’t fear the need of holding multiple numbers of cards. Which brings us to the question: how many credit cards should I carry?

Credit card surcharges are a rip off bonanza: Ian Cowie

Awkwardly, the free payment option varies from one retailer to another and so there is no substitute for reading the terms and conditions carefully before making a substantial purchase with plastic.

There is no legal requirement for retailers or anyone else to offer a free way to pay with plastic, according to the UK Cards Association, although other countries – including France, Italy and Sweden – ban credit card surcharges altogether.

Britain’s new financial watchdog, which is set to replace the Financial Services Authority next year, should get its teeth into inflated processing fees and force them back into line with the real cost of providing credit.
